Full job description

Position: Contracts Engineer Mumbai

Job Location: Thane Mumbai

Key Responsibilities: •

1. Oversee pre- and post-contract activities, including contract drafting, review, and management •

2. Lead project management efforts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery •

3. Manage vendor development, including evaluation, onboarding, and relationship management •

4. Conduct rate analysis and lead negotiations with vendors, contractors, and suppliers •

5. Ensure project financials, including budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting, are accurate and aligned with company goals.

6. Identification, monitoring and mitigation of Project risks and opportunities in a timely manner.

7. Drafting & Vetting of Contractual communications/project correspondences.

8.



Ensuring timely notices for various issues arising at site pertaining to Extension of time, variations, settlement of disputes.

9. Handling of Delay and Disruption claims.

10. Experience in Dispute resolution processes such as DAB, Conciliation, Mediation, Arbitration.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications / Details: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BE Civil), PG in Construction/Contracts Management – preferred • 5-7 years of experience in contracts management, project management, and vendor development •

Robust skills in rate analysis, contract negotiations, and financial management •

Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control •

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills •
