Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities1. Business Delivery

- Achieve assigned sales targets (NOP, Revenue, case count, product mix) through partner bank branches
- Drive Life Insurance penetration within mapped bank branches
- Focus on high-quality business acquisition and persistency

2. Partner Relationship Management

- Build and nurture robust working relationships with key stakeholders at partner banks
- Act as a single point of contact for the bank on all insurance-related matters
- Ensure alignment with partner bank priorities and identify growth opportunities

3. Sales Enablement & Capability Building

- Conduct regular training sessions for bank staff on life insurance products, sales pitches, and compliance
- Work closely with relationship managers/branch teams during customer meetings to drive closures

4. Branch Activation & Engagement

- Increase activation of mapped branches and improve productivity per branch
- Plan and execute joint sales activities, campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives
- Ensure regular branch visits and structured engagement with frontline teams

Pipeline & Lead Management

- Work closely with bank teams to generate quality leads and maintain a strong pipeline
- Track and monitor lead conversion ratios and take corrective actions
- Leverage data to identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell

6. Governance & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and company policies
- Maintain quality of sales and documentation standards
- Drive ethical sales practices across partner teams

7. Reporting & Review

- Provide regular updates on business performance, branch productivity, and sales funnel
- Analyze trends and take proactive actions to address gaps
- Participate in periodic reviews with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred candidate profile Experience

- 2- 8 years in Life Insurance / Bancassurance / BFSI Sales
- Strong experience in managing bank channel partnerships (preferably SIB, ESAF, Bandhan Bank, AU or similar institutions)
- Proven track record of achieving sales target
