Job Summary

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, highly skilled Senior Salesforce Functional Consultant to serve as a founding member of our new Salesforce Capability practice. In this strategic role, you will work directly alongside the Capability Lead to establish delivery standards, define governance frameworks, and build scalable solutions from the ground up.

This position bridges the gap between high-level business analysis and advanced hands-on platform configuration. As our sole initial technical resource, you must be comfortable managing stakeholders, designing scalable data models, executing complex automations via Flow Builder, and leaning into modern Salesforce innovations like Data Cloud and Agentforce AI.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Business Analysis & Solution Architecture (40%)

- Discovery & Process Mapping: Lead discovery workshops with business units to unpack complex operational workflows, identify operational bottlenecks, and translate them into structured business requirements and user stories.
- Scalable Data Modeling: Design relational data models, object relationships, custom metadata, and robust sharing/security frameworks that align with Salesforce enterprise best practices.
- Standardization Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, advocating for out-of-the-box functionality and a "Clicks over Code" methodology before recommending custom programmatic development.
- Next-Gen Scoping:



Identify high-value use cases for cutting-edge Salesforce technologies, specifically focusing on Data Cloud architectures and autonomous Agentforce AI workflows.

2. Declarative Development & Execution (45%)

- Advanced Automation: Architect, build, and optimize highly maintainable automations using Salesforce Flow Builder (including Record-Triggered Flows, Screen Flows, Orchestrator, and Sub-flows) utilizing structured error handling and fault paths.
- Core System Configuration: Own the end-to-end setup of core environments (Sales, Service, Revenue Lifecycle Management, or Industry Vertical Clouds), including custom objects, lightning pages, dynamic forms, validation rules, and permission sets.
- Data Migration & Integrity: Plan and execute data mapping, cleansing, and loading strategies from legacy data pools using enterprise data management tools (e.g., Data Loader).

3. Capability Building & Governance (15%)

- Framework Creation: Define reusable documentation templates, blueprint structures, and functional discovery questionnaires to accelerate future project deployments.
- Environment & DevOps Management: Help stand up a structured application lifecycle management (ALM) framework, establishing sandbox management and source-driven deployment paths using Salesforce DX or DevOps Center.





Required Technical Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience: 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the Salesforce ecosystem as a functional consultant, business analyst, or configuration specialist.

- Automation Mastery: Deep expert-level knowledge of Salesforce Flow Builder. Must understand advanced flow design patterns and how to build automation that scales without hitting platform limits.

- Contemporary Data & AI Literacy: Solid understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud concepts (data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution) and familiarity with Agentforce / Einstein AI capabilities.

- Tools: Proficient with data migration tools (Data Loader, DemandTools) and Agile project tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps).

- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or an equivalent technical field.

- Consultative Communication: Strong presence with the ability to confidently present technical designs to business executives and translate technical jargon into clear business value.
