Role & responsibilities

- Design, install, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for industrial and mobile equipment applications.
- Work on JCB diesel vehicle conversion projects, including replacing diesel systems with battery-powered electric systems.
- Perform battery pack installation, electrical wiring, cable routing, connection, and integration with vehicle control systems.
- Carry out installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical components, sensors, controllers, motors, and battery management systems (BMS).
- Inspect and modify mechanical components to support electric conversion requirements.
- Coordinate project execution, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities for converted electric vehicles.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and performance.




- Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare technical drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications, and engineering reports.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety procedures, and HSE requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, service, and project teams to deliver projects on time.
- Conduct field testing and performance evaluation of battery-operated JCB vehicles after conversion.
- Maintain documentation of modifications, test results, and service records.
