Position : Manager / Senior Manager – Business Strategy & Analytics

About the Role:

Our Client is looking for a sharp, analytically driven Manager/Senior Manager – Business Strategy & Analytics for our Aftermarket and Tools& Hardware Business to join our team in Bangalore. This role sits at the intersection of strategic planning, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional execution. You will partner closely with senior leadership to shape business strategy, identify growth opportunities, and translate complex data into actionable insights that drive company performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

Support the development of annual and long-term business strategy, including market sizing, competitive analysis, and growth planning

Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and areas for operational improvement

Drive strategic projects from problem definition through execution and impact measurement

Prepare board-level and leadership presentations, business reviews, and strategic recommendations

Analytics & Insights

Build and maintain dashboards, models, and reports to track key business metrics (revenue, growth, profitability,



efficiency)

Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across business units

Partner with data/BI teams to improve data infrastructure and reporting capabilities

Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders

Cross-Functional Leadership

Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to align strategic priorities

Lead or support special projects (M&A; evaluation, new market entry, pricing strategy, cost optimization)

Manage and mentor junior analysts/associates (for Senior Manager level)

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on business performance and strategic direction

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred, 5+ years (Manager) / 8+ years (Senior Manager) of experience in strategy consulting, business analytics, corporate strategy, or investment banking

Strong analytical and quantitative skills; advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint

Experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) strongly preferred

Proven track record of translating data into strategic business recommendations

Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership

Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment
