Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute the daily dispatch of milk and milk products as per market requirements.
- Coordinate with the Sales/Market team to collect and consolidate daily indents.
- Finalize SKU-wise dispatch quantities and communicate production requirements to the Production Department.
- Prepare and monitor daily dispatch schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Allocate insulated (Puff) vehicles based on dispatch requirements and optimize vehicle utilization.
- Plan vehicle routes for efficient and timely market deliveries.
- Monitor vehicle movement and track daily kilometres (KMs).
- Ensure timely dispatch of all vehicles as per the approved schedule.
- Maintain daily inward and outward records of milk crates.
- Track crate movement, follow up on crate returns, and ensure timely unloading at destinations.
- Reconcile crate balances and minimize crate losses.
- Verify dispatch documents, invoices, delivery challans, and related records before vehicle dispatch.
- Cross-check invoice quantities with dispatched SKUs to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with Production, Sales, Transporters, and Depot teams for smooth dispatch operations.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards,



and food safety requirements.
- Generate and maintain dispatch MIS reports using MS Excel and submit daily reports to management.
- Resolve dispatch-related issues and ensure uninterrupted supply to the market.

Required Skills

- Robust communication and coordination skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in dairy dispatch and logistics operations.
- Knowledge of route planning and vehicle scheduling.
- Experience in handling insulated (Puff) milk vehicles.
- Knowledge of milk crate management and tracking.
- Experience in SKU-wise dispatch planning.
- Ability to coordinate with Production, Sales, and Transport teams.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict dispatch timelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 56 years of experience in dispatch/logistics within the Dairy Industry.
- Good understanding of cold chain logistics and dairy distribution.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Experience in ERP/SAP or similar dispatch management systems will be an added advantage.
