Role & responsibilities

- Conduct quality audits of finished relays and prepare detailed inspection and test reports.
- Design and develop relay products as per marketing and customer requirements.
- Coordinate and conduct third-party type testing at ERDA and other approved testing laboratories.
- Prepare and maintain AutoCAD drawings of relay components, tools, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during relay calibration.
- Provide technical support to production by recommending design changes, concessions, and process improvements when required.
- Perform incoming quality inspection of raw materials and bought-out components.
- Visit supplier locations to inspect materials, identify quality issues, and guide vendors on improvement initiatives.
- Support the Purchase Department in vendor evaluation and vendor development activities.
- Maintain ISO documentation related to RE-300 and RE-400 relay products.




- Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues of relays returned by customers and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

- experience in Quality Control, Testing, or Relay Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of relay testing, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Understanding of quality control tools, inspection techniques, and ISO documentation.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings and relay protection systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including Production, Purchase, and Marketing.
