Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer (ETAP & DIALux) Oil & Gas

Location: Chennai
Experience: 8–10 Years

We are hiring an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for a leading Oil & Gas engineering project.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8–10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering & Design.
- Mandatory experience in Oil & Gas Engineering & Design projects.
- Hands-on experience with ETAP and DIALux is mandatory.
- Experience in Power System Studies, Electrical Design Calculations, and Detailed Engineering.
- Candidates from Oil & Gas EPC companies are highly preferred.
- Experience with AVEVA Electrical will be an added advantage.
- Robust knowledge of international standards such as IEC, IEEE, NEC, and relevant client specifications.

Preferred Responsibilities:

- Preparation of Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).




- Electrical Load List and Load Flow Studies.
- Short Circuit, Protection Coordination, Arc Flash, and Motor Starting Studies using ETAP.
- Lighting Design and Calculations using DIALux.
- Cable Sizing, Voltage Drop, and Earthing Design.
- Preparation of Electrical Design Deliverables and Technical Documentation.
- Coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Please Note:

Candidates with Operations & Maintenance experience only will not be considered.
Candidates with Field Engineering, Construction, Testing, or Commissioning experience without design exposure will not be considered.
