About CAI Software — Discrete Manufacturing Business Unit

CAI Software is a leading provider of specialized software for discrete and process manufacturers across Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Industrial Materials, and Precious Metals. The Discrete Manufacturing business unit is building the AI-native execution platform for discrete manufacturers — anchored by ShopVue (shop-floor execution),EDI , DataVue (Business Central-native vertical ERP), and CAI Connect (the integration fabric binding both to the customer's broader ecosystem).

We are scaling our Bangalore Center of Excellence (COE) as a strategic extension of our U.S. operations. The COE is not a cost center — it is a core delivery engine for our Customer Experience organization, staffed with experienced consultants who work alongside our domestic senior consultants and architects to deliver for enterprise customers

Role Overview

We are hiring Qualified Services Consultants to join the CAI Discrete COE PS team, supporting implementations of PMR — CAI's industry-leading, Business Central-native ERP for precious metals refining. Our client is one of the world's largest precious metals companies, is a strategic PMR customer currently in active global rollout. You will work alongside senior U.S.-based consultants and architects to deliver implementations, configuration, data migration, and customer-specific extensions.

What You'll Do

- Execute implementation tasks under the direction of senior PMR consultants — configuration, data migration, testing, and user enablement.




- Build and extend PMR functionality using Business Central AL extensions.
- Support data migration activities from legacy systems — data mapping, transformation, validation, and cutover execution.
- Participate in customer workshops (remotely), taking detailed notes and translating requirements into configuration and extension work.
- Write and maintain test scenarios, execute unit and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Document configuration decisions, customer-specific extensions, and implementation runbooks.
- Partner with domestic senior consultants and the customer delivery team on the global rollout program.
- Contribute to the PMR reference architecture and help standardize deployment patterns across customers.

What We're Looking For

- 4–7 years of ERP implementation or development experience.
- Microsoft Business Central expertise strongly preferred — MB-820 (Developer).
- Hands-on AL extension development experience for Business Central.
- Experience with BC data migration tools, RapidStart, or third-party migration tooling.
- Understanding of manufacturing ERP processes — production orders, BOMs, routings,

Inventory and cost accounting experience is a significant plus.





- Understanding of SQL skills for data migration, validation, and reporting.
- Exposure to Data standards /Power BI/Azure DevOps, /Jira/confluence /Git-based workflows is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written English for technical documentation and customer-facing communications.
- Ability to work independently on defined tasks while collaborating across time zones with senior consultants.

Role Parameters

Location: Bangalore, India (Center of Excellence)

Reports To: Director of Customer Experience, Bangalore

Level: Mid-level Consultant

Working Hours: Primarily U.S.-aligned working hours with flexibility (subject to manager and project requirements)

Office Attendance: Minimum 2 days per week in-office

Travel: Minimal to none

Role Type: Full-time, PS Consultant
