About the Role

This is not a traditional Business Analyst role.

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving business problems, simplifying complexity, and designing better product experiences. You won't simply document requirements. You will help shape how the product works.

You should enjoy questions like:

- How should this workflow work?
- What's the simplest experience for the user?
- How should these modules be organized?
- What edge cases are we missing?
- Is there a better way?

Role & responsibilities

- Analyze business problems and understand user needs to define effective product solutions.
- Gather, analyze, and document functional and business requirements.
- Design business workflows, user journeys, and product navigation for web-based applications.
- Define business rules, identify edge cases, and recommend optimal product approaches.
- Create functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other product documentation.
- Collaborate with founders, UX/UI designers, developers, and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support Agile development by participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and feature validation.
- Drive discussions to clarify ambiguous requirements and propose multiple solution options with pros and cons.




- Conduct competitive research and analyze market trends to improve product features.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity in requirement analysis, documentation, research, process modelling, and solution brainstorming.
- Ensure delivered features meet business requirements and provide a seamless user experience.
- Continuously improve existing product workflows and recommend innovative enhancements.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role.
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements for web-based software products.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to solve ambiguous business challenges.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in Marketplace, E-commerce, SaaS, ERP, CRM, Logistics, or Booking platforms is highly preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence,



or similar collaboration platforms.
- Basic understanding of APIs, system integrations, and up-to-date software development practices.
- Demonstrated UX thinking and customer-centric approach to product design.
- Experience working with Gulf/Middle East businesses is an added advantage.
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve work quality and productivity while applying sound business judgment.
- Self-driven, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote, quick-paced setting.
