Job Description Electrical Technician

Work Location: Toyota Motors, Bidadi

Key Responsibilities

- Execute electrical maintenance and installation work as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Inspect the work area and confirm there are no electrical hazards before commencing any electrical work.
- Perform preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Identify, remove, reroute, and rectify Low Tension (LT) cables to eliminate abnormalities.
- Coordinate with the concerned departments for Power ON/OFF activities before carrying out maintenance or cable modifications.
- Strictly follow the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedure during all electrical maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all safety standards, electrical regulations, and Toyota safety protocols.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in panels, motors, lighting systems, control circuits, and industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams,



and schematics.
- Maintain daily maintenance records, inspection reports, and breakdown logs.
- Ensure good housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.

Eligibility

- Qualification: ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 2-3 years in industrial electrical maintenance (Automotive/Manufacturing preferred).
- License: Valid Government-issued Wireman License (Mandatory).

Required Skills

- Knowledge of LT electrical systems, motors, electrical panels, and control circuits.
- Hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices, LOTO procedures, and PPE compliance.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
