Position Description

We are seeking a senior AI s Automation Engineer with 6-9 years experience to serve as both a deep technical authority and an independent client engagement leader within Colab61s India delivery hub. This is not a role for a capable individual contributor who needs direction. It is designed for a practitioner who can walk into a client relationship, take full ownership, and drive outcomes without handholding.

You will architect and build the infrastructure that powers our clients AI initiatives across data warehouses, RAG pipelines, agentic frameworks, and automation workflows, while simultaneously leading the client-facing dimension of those engagements. You will own accounts independently and shape the strategic direction of AI deployment.

Given the nature of our clients business, this role operates on East Coast US hours to manage stakeholder relationships in real time and maintain the responsiveness that they will expect.

This position carries a transparent trajectory toward a leadership role for our clients India operations.

Role Summary

Client Strategy s Discovery

- Participate in client meetings, discovery sessions, and strategy workshops as our AI and automation expert
- Actively listen to client concerns, workflows, and goals to identify high-leverage opportunities for AI and automation




- Translate ambiguous business problems into concrete technical roadmaps with clear ROI
- Present recommendations and architectures to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with client teams across marketing, sales, and operations

Infrastructure s Engineering

- Design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure underpinning our AI systems, including data warehouses, vector databases, and RAG servers
- Architect and deploy server environments (cloud and on-prem) that host LLMs, embedding models, and inference pipelines
- Build automation workflows using n8n, Make, Zapier, and custom code to connect systems and scale processes
- Develop and maintain integrations across our stack and our clients' stacks via REST APIs, webhooks, GraphQL, and SDKs

Strategic Vision

- Help shape how we apply AI to real business problems lead generation, sales enablement, process optimization, customer support, and beyond
- Evaluate models, frameworks, and vendors continuously, making recommendations grounded in performance, cost, and fit
- Establish best practices for data quality, prompt engineering, evaluation, monitoring, and security
- Document architectures and mentor team members on AI and automation capabilities
