Role & responsibilities

Laboratory Operations

- Prepare chemicals, reagents, solutions, and materials required for practical classes and research activities.
- Assist faculty members and students during laboratory practical sessions.
- Ensure laboratories are ready before practical classes and properly closed after use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory facilities.

Equipment Management

- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs and servicing.
- Maintain equipment usage and maintenance records.

Inventory & Documentation

- Maintain stock registers for chemicals, glassware, instruments, and consumables.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement requests when required.
- Maintain laboratory records, logs,



and documentation accurately.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to laboratory safety procedures and institutional policies.
- Properly store, label, and handle chemicals and hazardous materials.
- Manage disposal of laboratory waste according to prescribed guidelines.
- Ensure availability and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm/B.Pharm) or Laboratory Technology.
- Relevant laboratory experience in an educational institution, hospital, or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
