Job Description Water Test Lab Operator – EED

Position: Water Test Lab Operator – EED
Grade: 3 to 6
Experience: 2+ Years
Location: Ulundurpettai, Tamil Nadu

Key Responsibilities

- Collect water samples from various locations, treatment facilities, and RO drinking water systems, ensuring proper handling and chain of custody.
- Perform laboratory testing and analysis for parameters such as pH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, bacteria, nutrients, metals, and other contaminants.
- Interpret test results and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Record and maintain laboratory data, logs, and test reports accurately.
- Generate reports and communicate findings to management.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals, and testing instruments in good working condition.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and quality control requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology,



Environmental Science, or a related field. Candidates with relevant diploma qualifications and experience may also be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in water testing, environmental laboratories, or related fields.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of standard water testing methods and laboratory safety protocols.
- Hands-on experience in water sampling and laboratory analysis.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to perform field work and outdoor sampling activities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory record management.
- Positive communication and problem-solving abilities.
