We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who combines deep SQL expertise with contemporary Python/Django development and hands-on experience leveraging Agentic AI tools to ship high-quality solutions for our clients.
Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Extensive SQL expertise strong hands-on work with complex queries, junction tables, stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexing, and query optimization
- Python + Django — production-grade development experience
- Agentic AI & AI-assisted development — hands-on experience using tools like Claude, Augment, or Cursor in real workflows
- CI/CD — practical experience with Jenkins or Spinnaker
- Client-facing experience — proven track record of designing and delivering solutions directly to clients
- Strong communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
Good to Have
- Cloud domain knowledge (AWS or Azure)
- Frontend exposure with Angular
- Experience designing scalable, distributed systems
What You'll Do
- Design and build robust backend services and data models powering client-facing products
- Own complex SQL design, optimization, and database-side logic (SPs, functions, schema)
- Integrate AI-assisted workflows and agentic tooling to accelerate delivery and quality
- Partner with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable, repeatable deployments
