We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Hardware Asset Manager (HAM) with 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise Hardware Asset Management. The ideal candidate will manage the complete lifecycle of server hardware assets, ensuring accurate asset tracking, governance, compliance, vendor management, and cost optimization using ServiceNow HAM and CMDB.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete lifecycle of server hardware assets from procurement, deployment, maintenance, refresh, and decommissioning.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and lifecycle records in ServiceNow HAM and CMDB.
- Track End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) assets and drive proactive refresh planning.
- Coordinate hardware deinstallation, secure data sanitization, and disposal in compliance with organizational policies.
- Manage OEM and Third-Party Maintenance (TPM) support contracts.
- Monitor warranties, maintenance coverage, SLAs, and contract renewals.
- Identify opportunities for support cost optimization and contract consolidation.
- Ensure critical production servers have appropriate support coverage.
- Mitigate risks related to unsupported or aging infrastructure.
- Support infrastructure, operations, procurement, finance, and audit teams for lifecycle governance.
- Forecast hardware refresh cycles, maintenance renewals, and infrastructure investments.
- Provide reporting on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), asset utilization, and lifecycle status.
- Drive automation, reconciliation,



and governance improvements within ServiceNow HAM and CMDB.
- Ensure audit readiness through accurate asset records and compliance with governance standards.

Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Hardware Asset Management with solid expertise in ServiceNow HAM.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and CMDB.
- Strong understanding of enterprise server infrastructure and data center operations.
- Experience managing server hardware lifecycle and asset governance.
- Expertise in vendor management, OEM/TPM support contracts, warranties, and SLA management.
- Knowledge of hardware lifecycle planning, EOL/EOS management, and infrastructure risk mitigation.
- Experience in budgeting, CapEx/OpEx planning, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Experience with audit, compliance, and IT asset governance best practices.

- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Asset Management integrations.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Experience in infrastructure operations within large enterprise environments.
- Exposure to automation and workflow improvements in ServiceNow.
