Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for residential building construction projects. The candidate will ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards, while maintaining accurate documentation. The role requires regular travel to project sites for inspections and audits.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures
- Inspect civil works: excavation, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, tiling, painting, finishing
- Verify work against approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
- Inspect incoming materials: cement, steel, aggregates, sand, bricks/blocks, concrete, tiles, waterproofing materials
- Coordinate field/lab testing: concrete cube tests, slump tests, soil tests, reinforcement checks
- Raise NCRs for deviations and ensure corrective/preventive action closure
- Maintain inspection records, material approvals, checklists, and test reports




- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients during inspections and audits
- Ensure compliance with IS Codes, NBC, and company quality procedures
- Recommend improvements to reduce rework, defects, and wastage
- Support statutory/client inspections and project handover documentation
- Travel to project sites for inspections as required
- Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 2-3 years of QA/QC experience in residential, commercial, or high-rise construction
- Sound knowledge of RCC works, finishing works, and quality inspection procedures
- Strong understanding of IS Codes and NBC
- Ability to read structural and architectural drawings
- Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD/project management software is a plus
- Two-wheeler mandatory
- Willingness to travel to project sites

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of concrete technology, reinforcement inspection, waterproofing systems
- Experience preparing ITPs, Method Statements, MIRs, WIRs
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
