- Design, build, and maintain Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with JNI (Java Native Interface) and NDK (Native Development Kit).
- Familiarity with integration of TFLite based models and development around their APIs.
- Familiarity with using BLE/WIFI/Bluetooth/NFC connectivity option.
- Experience in the WCAG compliance development
- Robust knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Understanding of Googles Android design principles and interface guidelines.
- Experienced in developing Android apps, working in large agile TDD teams.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different
screen sizes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Familiarity with clean code and architecture principles.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
