Job Summary

VSole Solar is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Store Incharge to manage the day-to-day operations of our solar equipment and materials store/warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory control, material handling, documentation, and ensuring smooth coordination between the store, production, and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of solar panels, inverters, batteries, cables, mounting structures, and other raw materials/components
- Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management software/ERP
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and storage of items as per safety and quality standards
- Coordinate with procurement team for timely replenishment of stock and raise indents/purchase requests
- Track and manage inward/outward gate passes, challans, and delivery documentation
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed for material movement, especially for sensitive components
- Monitor minimum stock levels and prevent stockouts or overstocking
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the store/warehouse area
- Supervise store helpers/loaders and allocate daily tasks




- Prepare periodic stock reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with the accounts/finance team for material costing and invoice verification
- Handle return, damage, and rejection processes for defective materials

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate/Diploma in any discipline (preference for Supply Chain, Commerce, or Engineering background)
- 25 years of experience in store/inventory management, preferably in solar, electrical, or manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/ERP software (Tally, SAP, or similar)
- Robust organizational and record-keeping skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Physically fit and able to handle warehouse operations
- Basic understanding of solar components (panels, inverters, batteries, BOS items) preferred
