The Sr. Engineer Dam projects will be responsible for planning, supervision, and management of irrigation and dam infrastructure projects. The role involves leading construction activities, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and contractual requirements, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring timely, safe, and quality execution of the project.

Role & Responsibilities

- Assist the Project Director in the overall planning, coordination, and execution of irrigation and dam construction works.
- Supervise the construction of dams, canal systems, reservoirs, intake structures, head regulators, cross drainage works, and allied hydraulic structures.
- Ensure that all project activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, contract conditions, and applicable standards.
- Review and monitor construction schedules, resource deployment, and work progress to ensure timely completion of the project.
- Coordinate with client representatives, design consultants, Project Management Consultants (PMC),



and government authorities for technical approvals, inspections, and progress reviews.
- Oversee survey, leveling, setting out, and alignment of canal and dam structures to ensure accuracy as per design requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards at the project site.
- Review progress reports, technical reports, and project documentation, and provide inputs to senior management regarding project performance.

Key Competencies

- Solid knowledge of dam engineering, irrigation systems.
- Expertise in construction management and project scheduling
- Leadership and team management skills

Preferred Experience

- Minimum 10-12 years of professional experience in construction and management of irrigation, dam, canal, and water resource infrastructure projects.
- Experience in projects funded by government departments.
