Job Title: Denim Apparel Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and passionate Denim Apparel Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of denim trends, garment construction, washes, fabrics, silhouettes, and market research. You will be responsible for designing creative denim collections that align with current fashion trends and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design denim apparel collections for men's, women's, or kids' wear.
- Research fashion trends and develop seasonal designs.
- Create mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts.
- Prepare technical sketches and tech packs.
- Collaborate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams.
- Source fabrics and trims with suppliers.
- Review samples and suggest improvements.
- Stay updated on denim trends, washes, and finishes.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of denim fabrics, washes, fits,



and garment construction.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other design software.
- Good understanding of fashion trends and forecasting.
- Ability to create technical drawings and tech packs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent creativity and attention to detail.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
- Candidates from NIFT, Pearl Academy, JD Institute, INIFD, or other reputed fashion institutes are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with denim brands or apparel export houses.
- Knowledge of sustainable denim manufacturing processes.
- A strong design portfolio showcasing denim collections is mandatory.
