Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities for our construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing construction materials, negotiating with vendors, managing purchase orders, ensuring timely material delivery to project sites, and optimizing procurement costs while maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of construction materials, vendor management, and project procurement

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of civil construction materials, MEP items, finishing materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Planning teams to understand material requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate the best commercial terms.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order execution.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project schedules.




- Monitor inventory levels and prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, contracts, and documentation.
- Verify invoices, delivery challans, and coordinate with Accounts for payment processing.
- Track market trends, material prices, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
- Visit project sites as required to monitor procurement requirements and vendor performance.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 510 years of procurement experience in construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in procurement of Cement, Steel, RMC, AAC Blocks, Electrical, Plumbing, Sanitary, HVAC, Tiles, Marble, Granite, Paint, Doors, Plywood, Laminates, and related construction materials is preferred.
