ENGINEER / SUPERVISOR - MIXING DEPARTMENT
Job ID: PM 01 - CHN Key Performance Areas:

To ensure accurate and efficient mixing of raw materials as per specified formulations, maintaining quality standards, safety, and production targets.

- Plan and execute daily mixing schedules as per production plan

- Ensure proper batch preparation as per approved formulation

- Monitor mixing cycle time, temperature, and process parameters

- Achieve daily production targets with minimum downtime

- Ensure raw material weighing accuracy as per BOM

- Maintain consistency in batch quality

- Coordinate with QC team for testing and approvals

- Identify and control mixing defects (overheating, improper blending, etc.)

- Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)

- Monitor machine parameters (RPM, temperature, mixing time)

- Optimize mixing process to improve efficiency and reduce wastage

- Allocate work to mixing operators and helpers

- Train operators on process and safety

- Monitor discipline and productivity of workers

- Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdowns

- Maintain preventive maintenance schedule

- Ensure availability of raw materials for continuous production

- Monitor consumption vs standard usage

- Reduce material wastage and losses

- Ensure safety practices in mixing area

- Handle chemicals and materials as per safety guidelines

- Maintain housekeeping (5S) in the mixing section

- Maintain batch records and production logs

- Prepare shift reports (production, rejection, downtime)





- Track KPIs like OEE, yield, wastage

- Knowledge of mixing processes

- Strong understanding of raw materials

- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Leadership and team handling

- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reports)

Required Qualifications:

- Attention to detail and accuracy
