General Roles and Responsibilities

The candidate for a B2B company like The Metal Powder Company Limited (MEPCO), which manufactures non-ferrous metal powders and pastes for various industries including automotive, powder coatings, and aerospace, typically performs the following roles and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

- Researching and identifying target international markets and consumer trends.
- Finding global buyers, distributors, and B2B partners through trade portals (e.g., Alibaba), networking, and cold outreach.
- Managing foreign client inquiries, sending quotation offers, and negotiating pricing and contract terms.
- Meeting and exceeding quarterly or annual international sales targets.
- Attending international trade shows, fairs, and exhibitions to expand the company's network.

. Export Documentation & Compliance

- Generating essential commercial paperwork including Proforma Invoices, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), and Certificates of Origin.
- Ensuring all trade operations strictly comply with local customs, foreign trade policies (like DGFT regulations),



and legal requirements.
- Handling Letters of Credit (LC), bank guarantees, advance payments, and ensuring FEMA compliance for smooth material clearance.

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

- Coordinating with Customs House Agents (CHA), freight forwarders, and shipping lines.
- Monitoring international freight movements and providing delivery schedules or delay updates to foreign clients.
- Collaborating with production and inventory teams to prioritize manufacturing based on export schedules.

Communication Requirements & Skills

- Exceptional verbal and written communication is the backbone of this role, directly determining sales success and smooth supply chain operations.
