Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on Senior Manager – Accounts & Finance to lead our financial operations, plant accounting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will bring 15 to 20 years of core manufacturing accounting experience, deep familiarity with Rajkot's industrial landscape, and exceptional command over Advanced Excel for financial modelling, cost analysis, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & Strategic Planning

- Oversee end-to-end financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and asset accounting.
- Drive annual budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis to support business growth and cost optimization.
- Partner with senior management and leadership to guide capital expenditure (CapEx) decisions and long-term financial strategy.

2. Manufacturing Costing & Inventory Control

- Lead product costing, bill of materials (BOM) evaluation, and variance analysis (material, labor, and overheads).
- Monitor plant-level inventory valuations, work-in-progress (WIP), stock audits, and scrap management.
- Analyze production efficiency and overhead allocations to identify cost-saving opportunities.

3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure 100% compliance with GST, Direct Taxes (Income Tax, TDS/TCS), and local statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants,



and government bodies for smooth annual audits and assessment proceedings.
- Oversee statutory filings, tax planning, and timely remittance of all liabilities.

4. Advanced Data Analytics & Excel Reporting (MIS)

- Build and maintain dynamic, automated Excel models for financial reporting, scenario analysis, and plant performance tracking.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Complex Formulas, Lookups, Macros/VBA, Data Modeling) to extract actionable insights from ERP systems.
- Design and present monthly MIS dashboards covering EBITDA, working capital, gross margins, and operational KPIs.

5. Working Capital & Banking

- Manage treasury functions, banking relationships, credit facilities, and working capital limits (CC/OD, LC, BG).
- Supervise receivables and payables management to maintain healthy cash flow and working capital cycles.

Required Qualifications & Key Skills

- Education: CA / ICWA (CMA) / M.Com / MBA (Finance).
- Experience: 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in the manufacturing sector (e.g., engineering, automotive components, forging, casting, or industrial goods).
- Locality: Must be based in Rajkot with strong familiarity with local business practices, banking ecosystems, and statutory environments.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced Excel Expert: Mastery over complex nested formulas, Power Query, Data Validation, Dynamic Arrays, Dashboard Design, and automated reporting.
- Robust working knowledge of ERP systems (Tally Prime, SAP, or customized manufacturing ERPs).

- Leadership & Personal Attributes:

- Proven track record of managing and mentoring accounts team members.
- Strong analytical mind, high attention to detail, and a problem-solving orientation.
- Explicit communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
