Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Officer

- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess stock




- Conduct regular stock counts and audits
- Arrange goods properly in designated storage areas
- Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory methods where applicable
- Maintain warehouse records and documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports
- Track damaged or missing items
- Ensure proper handling of materials and equipment
- Supervise warehouse assistants or workers
- Train staff on warehouse procedures if required
- Time management
- Barcode scanners
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
