About the Role

ART Technology and Software is seeking a talented Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in FinTech, Banking, and Payment Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of mission-critical financial platforms through a combination of manual testing, automation, and modern quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Perform Manual, Automation, API, Database, and Performance Testing.
- Validate end-to-end payment processing workflows, including authorization, settlement, refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliations.
- Conduct Reconciliation and Settlement Testing to ensure financial accuracy and transaction integrity.
- Test payment gateway integrations and transaction processing systems.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks and test suites.
- Perform database validation and data reconciliation using SQL.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders in Agile environments.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, document, and track defects through closure.

Mandatory Skills

6+ years of QA experience

Robust experience in FinTech, Banking, or Payments Domain





Hands-on expertise in:

- Manual Testing
- Automation Testing
- API Testing
- Database Testing (SQL)
- Performance Testing

Strong knowledge of:

- Payment Processing Systems
- Transaction Validation
- Reconciliation Testing
- Settlement Testing
- Chargeback Processing

Experience with:

- Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
- Postman / Rest Assured
- JMeter or equivalent performance testing tools
- CI/CD Pipelines
- Agile/Scrum Methodologies

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Mutation Testing and Quality Engineering practices.
- Understanding of Financial Back-office Operations.
- Experience in high-volume transaction environments.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Hiring Criteria

FinTech / Banking / Payments experience is mandatory

Strong Payments Back-office knowledge

Hands-on experience in Reconciliation Settlement Testing

Good understanding of Chargebacks and Dispute Management

Strong API, Database, and Automation Testing expertise

Experience validating mission-critical financial transactions

Ability to work independently and drive quality initiatives
