Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering / production engineering /

Mechatronics engineering / Diploma Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 5+ years experience in engineering field

JOB SPECIFICATION: - Assembly Process, Designing of fixtures and facility creation work with ME activities.

Roles and Responsibilities: -

Productivity improvement in Assembly Line.

Identifying Kaizen, Poka yoke, Process improvement

Setup of current assembly lines

Cost reduction in new development of jigs/fixture/Tools

Cost reduction activities in existing process

Machines/SPM Concept Design

Identifying of Deviations in Jigs,Fixtures and Tools correction

Identifying deviations in material handling Equipment's and correction

Identifying process deviations and reporting to Process Engineers.

Concept design to design for jig & fixtures With SMED

Implement SMED in all Machines

KEY AUTHORITIES : -

Implementation of Lean Systems in the Assembly Lines.

Process Documentation (PFD, SOP) preparation.

Implementation of Kaizens and Improvements in the Assembly lines.





Settling day to day assembly issues

Capacity planning for assembly Shop.

KEY RESULT AREAS :

Completion of assy line, Fixtures/Tools as per plan.

Co-ordination and completion of identified Deviations.

Identification of possibility in improving life of Jigs&Fixtures; by changing its Design and Material Grade.

Co-ordination and completion of identified deviations in material handling Equipment's.

Manufacturing of jig & fixture and implementation in plant

Co-ordination with assembly process development

Completion of ME Task as per plan

Completion of employee suggestion scheme as per plan

Competencies : -

Solid work, Auto CAD, MS office, Software knowledge

Systematic Problem solving methodologies

Supporting for process improvements

ISO Documentation

PFD,PFMEA, Work instruction and SOP

GD&T; knowledge

SAP /PLM knowledge added advantage
