We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Tester with solid expertise in Robot Framework to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test solutions across web and mobile platforms. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated functional test scripts using Robot Framework.
- Execute automated test suites across multiple platforms and touchpoints, including web and mobile applications.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide explicit test execution reports.
- Troubleshoot automation issues and optimize test frameworks for improved efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain and enhance reusable automation components, libraries, and framework keywords.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and status reporting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to test automation processes and quality assurance practices.
- Contribute to CI/CD integration and ensure automated tests are executed as part of the deployment pipeline.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Hands-on experience with Robot Framework or similar hybrid automation frameworks.
- Strong experience in web and mobile test automation (iOS and Android).
- Valuable understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Knowledge of the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern and automation framework architecture.
- Basic understanding of REST API testing.
- Working knowledge of Python scripting for automation purposes.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated test suites into build and deployment processes.
- Experience using collaboration and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
