We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Billing Executive to manage billing operations in our traditional apparel showroom. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely billing, provide excellent customer service at the checkout counter, and support smooth store operations while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and payment processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate accurate customer bills using the POS/billing system.
- Process cash, credit/debit card, UPI, and other digital payments.
- Verify product details, pricing, discounts, and promotional offers before billing.
- Handle customer queries related to invoices, payments, and billing discrepancies.
- Ensure proper issuance of tax invoices, receipts, and other billing documents.
- Maintain daily cash collections and prepare end-of-day cash reconciliation reports.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth customer checkout.
- Process returns, exchanges, and credit notes as per company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial transactions.
- Assist in stock verification and inventory-related documentation when required.
- Ensure the billing counter is organized and all billing records are maintained properly.
- Follow company policies regarding billing, cash handling, and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 12 years of experience in retail billing or cashier operations (traditional apparel or textile showroom experience is an advantage).
- Familiarity with POS software and billing systems.
- Basic knowledge of GST and retail invoicing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
