We are looking for an energetic and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to expand Athrise's presence across schools in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should have robust experience in building relationships with schools and educational institutions.
The role primarily involves school outreach, partnership development, championship registrations, and strengthening long-term relationships with school leadership.

Role & responsibilities

- Develop and manage partnerships with schools across Bengaluru.
- Meet Principals, Directors, Sports Coordinators and PE Heads to present Athrise programs.
- Drive school participation in the Athrise Championship.
- Identify new schools and expand Athrise's institutional network.
- Conduct presentations, meetings, and product demonstrations.
Build strong relationships with school stakeholders for long-term engagement.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and ensure timely onboarding of schools.
- Coordinate with internal operations and championship teams for smooth execution.




- Maintain accurate records of meetings, follow-ups, and opportunities in the CRM.
- Achieve monthly school acquisition and participation targets.
- Represent Athrise at education and sports events.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 3-7 years of experience in Business Development or Institutional Sales.
- Prior experience in the education sector, particularly in school partnerships, is mandatory.
- Experience working with EdTech companies, school service providers, educational publishers, school ERP companies, sports education organizations, or similar sectors will be preferred.
- Excellent networking and relationship management skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and communication abilities.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with extensive field travel.
- Ability to engage with senior school leadership and decision-makers.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
