Your work will support secure and high-performance automation solutions aligned with international standards.Key Responsibilities
- Validate and certify communication features in substation automation systems
- Test and troubleshoot communication protocols in lab and field setups
- Ensure compliance with international communication and cybersecurity standards
- Work with development and system engineering teams to resolve issues
- Validate redundancy and high availability communication architectures
- Support customer issues, audits, and required travel
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of substation automation and telecontrol protocols
- Good understanding of OSI model, networking, and serial/Ethernet communication
- Hands on experience with communication redundancy concepts
- Experience with protocols such as Modbus, OPC (DA/AE/UA), DNP3,
- IEC 60870 5 101/103/104, and IEC 61850
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of power system protection
- Exposure to cloud technologies and MQTT
- Awareness of cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443)
