We are looking for: Software Test Engineer

Youll make an impact by:

- As a test professional, you will be testing electrical products and associated engineering software tools offered by SIEMENS to its customers.
- Analyze requirements and design test cases based on user requirements specifications and system specifications.
- Perform test execution and report bugs in the test and defect management system.
- Perform intensive manual and automated product testing (functional and non-functional).
- Work in an Agile/Scrum team and contribute to achieving Scrum goals; interact and exchange ideas with global teams.
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn, understand, and build in-depth knowledge of the latest test automation frameworks and trends.
- Handle customer care tickets, ensuring timely analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues reported by global users.
- Maintain and support demo servers used by global stakeholders, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
- Coordinate with cross-functional and global teams to resolve setting-related and customer-reported issues efficiently.

Bachelors degree in electrical engineering (EE),



Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or Instrumentation Engineering.

- 610 years of experience in the electrical domain with exposure to substation automation and/or power distribution.
- Knowledge of low-voltage products (power meters, circuit breakers, motor starters, drives, etc.).
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, IEC 61850, ION, Ethernet TCP/IP).
- Knowledge of electrical panel arrangement, electrical schematics, single-line and multi-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of power management systems.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and professionalism.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience in the electrical domain with exposure to substation automation and power distribution/management.
- Industrial software testing experience is desirable.
