We are looking for aYellow Fleet / Maintenance Vehicle Engineer

Youllmake a difference by:

- Deriving the concept of necessary maintenance vehicle out of the track layout, line specification and requirements
- Preparing the technical specifications of maintenance vehicle including evaluation of offers from suppliers
- Managing requirements related to Maintenance Vehicle in bid and execution phase
- Preparing preliminary and detailed Design in coordination with suppliers
- Planning and coordinating Test and Commissioning and approval of the vehicle
- Clarification of all interfaces related to the maintenance vehicle
- Calculating the costs of procurement, delivery, homologation, testing and commissioning of the maintenance vehicle
- Preparation of technical documents for vehicles during the execution of the project in coordination with suppliers.
- Aligning RAM and Safety related requirements together with the supplier and assessing Human Factor requirements related to maintenance vehicle

Youllwin us over by:





- Youshould have at least 10 years of experience in Yellow Fleet / Maintenance Vehicle along withbachelors or mastersdegreeinengineering.
- You have experience with rail bound and two-way vehicles for track, catenary maintenance etc. You know the different functionalities and necessary features of the vehicles to perform full maintenance of the line.
- You have already been able toacquirein-depth knowledge of various Maintenance Vehicle, incl. technical descriptions, preliminary and detailed design
- You have profound experience in Homologation, Testing and Commissioning of maintenance vehicle
- You have profound experience in Interface Management and System Integration of maintenance vehicles, i.e. Integration of Signalling and Communication onboard units and measurement data transfer from vehicle to ground.
- You can analyze track schematic layout and derive the necessary requirements for the maintenance vehicle
- You are familiar with (i.e. European) Norms and Standards, like TSI related to maintenance vehicles
- You have principal knowledge of rail subsystems
- You have technical knowledge of Rolling Stock
- You have qualified-level proficiency in English
- You have experience with CAD software.
- You have experience with asset management and maintenance management systems.
- Willingness to travel and perform occasional field work
- Workexperience in an international environmentis an advantage.
