Job Description

A leading multi-specialty hospital is hiring experienced Nuclear Medicine Physicians/Consultants and Nuclear Medicine Technicians (RSO Level II) for its Nuclear Medicine Department.

We are looking for professionals with hands-on experience in PET-CT, SPECT-CT, radiopharmaceutical handling, radiation safety, and AERB compliance. Candidates should possess robust clinical and technical expertise while ensuring high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.

Eligibility

For Nuclear Medicine Physician / Consultant

- MBBS with MD/DNB in Nuclear Medicine from a recognized institution.
- Valid Medical Council Registration.
- Minimum 35 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in PET-CT and SPECT-CT reporting.
- Eligible to independently practice Nuclear Medicine procedures as per AERB guidelines.

And

For Nuclear Medicine Technician (RSO Level II)

- B.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology / B.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology (Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent.
- AERB-approved RSO Level II Certification (Mandatory).
- Minimum 35 years of experience in PET-CT and/or SPECT-CT operations.
- Experience in handling radiopharmaceuticals and radiation safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities





- Perform and/or interpret PET-CT, SPECT-CT, and other Nuclear Medicine procedures.
- Handle, administer, store, and maintain records of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Ensure compliance with AERB, NABH, and radiation safety regulations.
- Monitor radiation exposure and maintain statutory documentation.
- Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) of Nuclear Medicine equipment.
- Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures.
- Coordinate with clinicians, vendors, service engineers, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain departmental quality standards and patient safety.
- Train and mentor junior staff whenever required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and deliver high-quality patient care.
