Experience Required: 4-7 years (Project & Industrial Procurement preferred)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing, vendor development, negotiation, and timely procurement of materials and services for ongoing and upcoming projects. The role will ensure cost efficiency, quality compliance, and adherence to project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services as per BOQ, drawings, and technical specifications
- Float RFQs, evaluate techno-commercial bids, and prepare comparative statements
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contracts
- Finalize Purchase Orders in coordination with project, engineering, and finance teams
- Develop and maintain vendor database with performance evaluation
- Ensure timely delivery and follow up with suppliers to meet project schedules
- Coordinate inspections, documentation, GRNs, and invoice reconciliation
- Monitor material consumption and control procurement costs




- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements
- Handle emergency and fast-track procurement as per project needs

Desired Skills & Competencies

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of construction/industrial materials (MEP, civil, cleanroom, fabrication, equipment)
- Understanding of BOQs, technical specs, and drawings
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and procurement documentation
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities
- Cost optimization and timeline management mindset

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration
- Qualified certifications in procurement/supply chain (preferred but not mandatory)

Experience

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on procurement experience
- Experience in project-based industries such as construction, pharma facilities, manufacturing plants, or EPC projects preferred
