- - Possess a detailed and practical understanding of the Australian mortgage broking industry, including broker workflows, lender policies, and credit assessment expectations.




- Have hands-on experience in a Credit Analyst role within an AU broker, lender, or aggregator setting.
- Demonstrate the ability to independently perform and explain:
- PAYG income assessments (payslips, YTD, income consistency, variable income components)
- Self-Employed financial reviews, including:
- Sole trader, company, and trust structures
- Financial statements, tax returns, NOA, BAS
- Addbacks, income normalization, and policy-driven income calculations
- Be capable of leading training sessions that clearly explain complex selfemployment income scenarios and financial documents to learners with varying levels of credit knowledge.
- Show confidence in simplifying complex credit logic through examples, use cases, and scenario-based explanations.
