Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.

- Develop and execute test plans for big data applications.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and create test cases.
- Identify, report, and track defects found during testing.
- Maintain and enhance the automation framework.
- Monitor and analyze test results to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Continuously improve and optimize testing processes.
- Scrum/Agile methodologies

Preferred candidate profile

• 4+ years of strong experience on Python scripting

- 2+ years of strong experience on ETL/Bigdata testing,
- 3+ years of robust experience on SQL
- Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer with a focus on big data applications.
- Strong knowledge of Python and test automation frameworks.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Agile software delivery including application lifecycle mgmt. (Jira, DevOps and Git).
