The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the organization while ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in the ERP/Tally system.
- Prepare and record journal entries, payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, and contra entries.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare vendor payments and customer invoices.
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain cash and bank records.
- Reconcile vendor, customer, and ledger accounts on a regular basis.
- Prepare GST data, TDS workings, and assist in statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, and supporting financial documents.
- Process employee reimbursements and maintain expense records.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare MIS reports,
financial statements, and management reports as required.
- Coordinate with procurement, stores, and project teams for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Perform any other finance and accounts-related duties assigned by the management.
Preferred candidate profile
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent. M.Com/MBA (Finance) is an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and/or ERP systems.
- Valuable knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with accuracy.
