Your role:

- SAP Note Assistant (SNOTE): Independent analysis, implementation, and follow-up of SAP Notes for error correction and functionality enhancement.
- Error Analysis: Investigation of standard SAP errors, classification of correction instructions, and assessment of impacts on customer-specific developments.
- Manual Corrections: Execution of manual adjustments beyond SNOTE (e.g., Data Dictionary changes, implementation of BADIs/Modifications, and similar).
- Development Standards: Maintenance and optimization of existing ABAP developments, considering SAP HANA best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Unit testing and documentation of the applied corrections.
- Maintenance: Supporting teams with development tasks and support of release changes (e.g. SPDD, SPAU)

Your Qualification:

- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Management

- Experience: Several years of proven professional experience in development with at least five of the following skills:

- modern ABAP Syntax > 7.4 using Eclipse ADT
- ABAP Objects (OO)
- RTTS, dynamic and generic development
- Core Data Services




- RESTful Application Programming Model
- OData Services
- RF Framework
- SAP BTP Extensions
- BOPF
- CI integration
- API Management
- UI5/FIORI

- Know-how: Solid knowledge in using the SAP Note Assistant (Transaction SNOTE) and understanding of standard SAP processes.

- Technical Expertise: Proficient handling of ABAP Dictionary, debugging, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits.

- S/4HANA Knowledge: Ideally, experience with ABAP on HANA and Fiori to correctly evaluate notes in the contemporary SAP environment.

- Working Style: Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach combined with a strong quality awareness.

- Communication: Proven ability to manage operational tasks, handle customer escalations, and drive process improvements

- Teamwork: Extensive experience in collaborating and networking with cross-cultural teams, both international and virtual, to achieve seamless project delivery

- Proficient in analytical and solution-oriented thinking

- Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
