Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cross-Border Tax Attorney & CPA with deep expertise in
international taxation, cross-border compliance, and multi-jurisdictional tax regulations. The
ideal candidate is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Tax Attorney with
extensive experience advising on international corporate, individual, and trust taxation. This
role requires strong knowledge of global tax frameworks, tax treaties, indirect taxes, and foreign
income reporting, along with the ability to review and validate AI-generated tax annotations
using subject matter expertise.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert guidance on international corporate, individual, and trust taxation across
multiple jurisdictions.
• Interpret and apply cross-border tax treaties to support tax planning and compliance.
• Advise on U.S. federal, state, and international tax regulations, as well as applicable foreign tax
laws.
• Analyze and interpret tax implications of cross-border transactions, business structures, and
investments.
• Provide guidance on indirect taxes, including VAT, GST, sales tax, and other jurisdiction-specific
consumption taxes.
• Review foreign income reporting requirements, information returns, and international tax
compliance obligations.
• Monitor changes in domestic and international tax legislation and assess their impact on
clients or business operations.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, accounting, and compliance teams on complex international tax
matters.
• Conduct technical tax research and prepare clear, well-supported legal and tax analyses.
• Validate AI-generated tax annotations, classifications, and outputs using subject matter
expertise to ensure technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and consistency with
applicable tax laws and guidance.
Required Qualifications
• Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
or Attorney with a specialization in taxation;
dual CPA/JD credentials are highly preferred.
• Significant experience in international tax advisory, tax compliance, or cross-border tax
planning.
• Demonstrated expertise in:
- International corporate taxation
- Individual taxation
- Trust and estate taxation
- Cross-border tax treaties
- U.S. federal and state tax regulations
- International tax regulations
- Foreign income reporting
- Indirect taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax, and similar regimes)
• Solid understanding of multinational tax compliance and reporting requirements.
• Exceptional analytical, legal research, and tax interpretation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience advising multinational corporations, global accounting firms, law firms, or
international tax consulting organizations.
• Familiarity with OECD guidelines, transfer pricing concepts, and international tax
reporting frameworks.
• Experience supporting AI-enabled legal or tax review workflows, data annotation, or
quality assurance is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of tax research platforms and international tax databases.
