1. Territory Sales Achievement

- Own and deliver the monthly revenue target for the assigned territory across kirana, pharmacy, baby specialty, chemist, and supermarket outlets.
- Build and execute a daily and weekly coverage plan based on the approved Sales Visit List (SVL) ensuring every productive outlet is visited at the right frequency.
- Identify non-buying outlets and convert them to regular Softsens stockists through product demonstration, sampling, and scheme communication.
- Track daily secondary sales vs target, identify gaps early, and implement a Programme of Action (POA) to bridge shortfalls within the same month.
- Actively participate in joint calls with the ASM and use feedback to improve sales approach, outlet handling, and product communication.

2. Outlet Coverage & Visibility

- Maintain and expand the SVL identify new productive outlets (kirana, pharmacy, baby stores, medical stores) and recommend additions to the ASM for approval.
- Ensure Softsens products are prominently shelved, correctly priced, and supported with up-to-date POSM material at every visited outlet.
- Generate and protect shelf space for Softsens products negotiate with outlet owners for prime placement, especially for hero SKUs (Soap Pack of 5, Wipes, Shampoo).
- Ensure availability of the full Softsens range — including new product launches — at all priority outlets within the first month of launch.
- Record and report competitor shelf presence, pricing, and new product activity at outlet level on a weekly basis.

3. Distributor & Stockist Coordination

- Maintain productive relationships with assigned stockists — ensure adequate inventory levels, timely order placement, and zero stock-out situations.




- Monitor stockist outstanding dues and collect payment within defined credit periods; escalate to ASM if collections are overdue beyond agreed timelines.
- Ensure near-expiry and slow-moving stocks are identified early and liquidation plans are actioned in coordination with the ASM.
- Communicate trade schemes, promotional offers, and new product information accurately to stockists and outlet owners.
- Initiate and follow through on discount and scheme claim processing in coordination with the ASM.

4. Sales Representative Supervision

- Guide and supervise 1–3 Sales Representatives in daily field execution — review their SVL coverage, outlet handling, and reporting accuracy.
- Conduct joint fieldwork with SR at least 3 days per week to ensure execution quality and provide on-the-job coaching.
- Review SR daily reports and expense claims for accuracy before submission to ASM.
- Identify SR performance gaps and flag to ASM for training intervention or performance action.

5. Reporting & Market Intelligence

- Submit Daily Sales Reports (DSR), monthly sales summaries, tour plans, and TADA expense statements accurately and on time.
- Provide structured market feedback to ASM: competitor activities, distributor feedback, outlet owner insights, pricing issues, and consumer observations.
- Prepare territory-level performance analysis for monthly ASM review meetings — own the numbers, know the reasons for gaps.
- Maintain integrity in all expense claims, outlet visit data, and sales reporting — zero tolerance for data inflation or false entries.

Preferred candidate profile

- 3–6 years of field sales experience in FMCG, baby care, personal care, or consumer healthcare.
- Hands-on experience in GT outlet coverage — kiranas, pharmacies, baby specialty stores, and medical stores — with a solid understanding of how each trade partner buys.
- Proven ability to manage stockist relationships including inventory planning, outstanding collection, and scheme communication.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior sales staff (SR or promoter level) in field execution.
- Strong route planning, daily coverage discipline, and ability to meet SVL targets consistently across the month.
- Comfort with daily reporting tools — DSR, sales apps, Excel — and commitment to data integrity.
- Hindi and/or local language fluency for direct trade engagement in the assigned territory.
- Willingness to spend 20–23 days per month in the field covering the assigned territory.
