Job / Role :

The Construction Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and control of construction activities for SAF / HVO Bio-Refinery Project. The role requires extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary construction works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage all site construction activities from mobilization through mechanical completion and project handover
- Plan, organize, and supervise multidisciplinary construction activities, including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, equipment erection, electrical, and instrumentation works.
- Develop and implement construction execution strategies, work schedules, resource plans, and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, QA/QC, HSE, Logistics, and Commissioning teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor construction progress against approved schedules and budgets, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes and standards, statutory regulations, and client requirements.
- Lead construction planning meetings, progress reviews, and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Manage subcontractors and construction contractors to ensure performance,



productivity, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
- Ensure availability and effective utilization of manpower, equipment, materials, and construction resources.
- Drive implementation of best construction practices and productivity improvement initiatives across all project disciplines.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and quality management systems, promoting a robust safety culture and achieving zero lost-time incidents.
- Review and approve construction methodologies, work packs, lifting plans, temporary works, and method statements.
- Resolve technical and construction-related issues in coordination with engineering and project management teams.
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, performance testing, and project handover activities.
- Prepare and present construction progress reports, risk assessments, recovery plans, and management updates.
- Mentor and develop construction engineers, area managers, field engineers, and supervisory personnel.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical
- Professional Certification in PMP will be an added advantage

Experience:

- 20+ years of experience in the hydrocarbon, refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or process industry.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale EPC refinery and process plant construction projects.
- Extensive experience in brownfield and greenfield refinery projects.
