Role & responsibilities

HCM Requirements

Understanding of foundational HCM principles including Architecture, Business Processes, Reporting, Security, Core Compensation, Organizations

3. (MUST)Exposure to Configurations: Configure Workday modules (Core HCM, Absence and Time tracking, Payroll) to align with client workflows.

1. Data management: Assist with data migration and ensure data accuracy

2. Process improvement: Identify and implement improvements to business processes using the Workday platform

3. Demonstrated knowledge of Workday Drive, Workday Docs, letter templates, Questionnaire, Survey, Reference Letters etc.

4. Advanced hand-on process with Hire, Onboarding, Change Job, and Termination business processes. Should have worked on Notification and Alerts configuration.

5. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Workday reporting tools (Advanced, Matrix, Composite reports).

6. Manage and maintain Workday security framework (roles, domains, business process security policies).

7. Be able to provide recommendations to Tier 1 Team to fix incorrect transactions

8. Participate in Workday releases, analyze impacts, and implement updates.

9. Perform data loading via EIBs. Support data migration, tenant setup, and tenant management activities.

10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Payroll, Recruiting, Absence, IAM etc.

Time & Absence Requirements

1. Understanding of foundational HCM principles including Business Processes, Reporting, Calculated Fields, Security, & Notifications

2.



Advanced hand-on experience with time-off plan configuration including complex accruals, carryovers, shadow plans and touchpoints with leaves and time tracking.

3. Advanced hands-on experience with leave configuration including balance periods, cascading leaves, intermittent leaves, and complex eligibility and validation rules.

4. Experience with ancillary absence processes such as automated leave return, automatic balance adjustments and transfers, Sell Time Off and others.

5. Experience with Workday time-tracking configuration, time submissions, and employee work schedules.

6. Experience with reporting using the available Absence and Time Tracking data sources.

7. Knowledge of Workdays API capabilities for the Absence and Time Tracking modules.

Payroll Requirements

1. Understanding of foundational HCM principles including Business Processes, Reporting, Calculated Fields, Security, & Notifications

2. Workday Payroll processing knowledge including calculation, complete, and settle steps

3. Experience with building payroll components (Earnings, Deductions, Account Posting Rules, Run Categories, Payment Election Rules)

4. Experience with third party payroll configuration (External Earnings, External Deductions, External Inputs)

5. Experience with reporting data sources for Payroll (Payroll Results) and Accounting (Journal Lines)

6. Knowledge of payroll regulatory rules and their impact on payroll configuration

7. Knowledge of payroll touchpoints (Time Tracking, Absence, HCM, Compensation, Advantages)
