We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Shopify Developer to join our growing e-commerce team at Seamedia. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Shopify theme development, modern storefront technologies like Shopify Hydrogen, and hands-on experience in building scalable multi-country Shopify stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes with a strong focus on performance and user experience
- Work extensively with Shopify Theme 2.0 (sections, app blocks, JSON templates)
- Build and maintain headless storefronts using Shopify Hydrogen (React.js)
- Customize and optimize modern Shopify themes including Horizon-based implementations
- Implement multi-country and multi-currency stores using Shopify Markets
- Handle Shopify checkout customization using extensibility features
- Convert UI/UX designs (Figma/Adobe XD) into responsive, high-quality storefronts
- Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, and SEO
- Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and custom Shopify functionalities
- Collaborate with backend teams, designers, and project managers for efficient delivery
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend and Shopify-related technical issues
Required Skills Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of frontend development experience
- At least 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience
- Strong expertise in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Solid experience with React.js and modern frontend development practices
- Hands-on experience with Shopify Hydrogen (headless commerce architecture)
- Deep understanding of Shopify Theme 2.0 (JSON templates, metafields, sections)
- Experience with Shopify Markets for multi-country store setup
- Good understanding of Shopify checkout extensibility
- Experience building responsive, mobile-first e-commerce websites
- Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD workflows
- Solid understanding of performance optimization and SEO best practices

- Experience with Oxygen deployment for Hydrogen apps
