Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience, deep expertise in Playwright-based automation, and solid exposure to AI-driven testing strategies. This role requires ownership of automation architecture, mentoring team members, and driving continuous quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks
- Lead automation strategy across UI, API, and integration testing
- Drive adoption of AI-powered testing solutions (self-healing automation, intelligent test selection, defect prediction)
- Define automation standards, best practices, and coding guidelines
- Review automation code and mentor junior QA engineers
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD automation pipelines
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and release quality
- Perform root cause analysis and guide defect prevention strategies
- Support non-functional testing (performance, reliability, security
- Act as a key stakeholder in quality sign-off

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles




- Expert-level (2+ years) experience with Playwright
- Advanced experience with API automation (Rest Assured or equivalent)
- Proven experience with AI-driven testing tools or platform
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes
- In-depth knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and release management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills

Desirable Skills

- Experience in cloud-based testing environments
- Knowledge of security and vulnerability testing
- Experience integrating automation with observability/analytics tools
- Contribution to test process improvement or innovation initiative
