SUMMARY:
As an Application Packaging Engineer, a typical day involves supporting the ongoing operations and managing the delivery of production systems and services. This role requires close attention to operational requirements and adherence to service agreements to ensure smooth and reliable system performance. The position demands proactive monitoring, timely issue resolution, and coordination with various teams to maintain service continuity and meet organizational objectives. The role also includes managing workflows to optimize system availability and responding effectively to any operational challenges that arise throughout the day.

Roles Responsibilities:

- Package and deploy enterprise applications using: AdminStudio MSI App-V MSIX

- Manage application deployment through: Microsoft Intune SCCM / MECM

- Perform application compatibility testing and remediation.

- Create, customize, and maintain MSI packages, transforms (MST), and deployment scripts.

- Support application virtualization and modernization initiatives.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell.

- Manage application patching and updates using Patch My PC.

- Monitor application performance and end-user experience using Nexthink.

- Troubleshoot application installation,



deployment, and runtime issues.

- Support software lifecycle management activities including packaging, testing, deployment, and retirement.

- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes including Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request Management.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, packaging standards, SOPs, and deployment guides.

- Collaborate with desktop engineering, security, infrastructure, and application teams.

- Participate in migration and modernization projects related to Windows and application platforms.
