Job Summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analysts to support global finance operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, and business performance analysis. The ideal candidate should possess solid analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and analyze financial reports, reconciliations, and management reports.
- Perform month-end and quarter-end financial closing activities.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and business insights.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and reconcile General Ledger (GL) accounts.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Business teams.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives and automation projects.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reports as required.





Required Skills

- Strong understanding of Financial Accounting and Corporate Finance.
- Knowledge of Financial Statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, if required.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or other ERP systems.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Alteryx is an added advantage.
- Understanding of Investment Banking or Financial Services is preferred.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, MBA (Finance), BBA, B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent.
- 03 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Finance Operations, Accounting, FP&A;, Reporting, or Reconciliation.
