Role & responsibilities

1. Calibration, Operation and Maintenance of all field instruments viz. PT/TT/PG/TG/PRV/SRV/CRV/USM/RPD/TFM meters etc.

2. Installation of Check Metering, Gas Chromatograph and Flow Computers at various locations and their operation and Maintenance

3. Periodic Meter Calibration for all Industrial, Commercial and Domestic Customers

4. SCADA and Automation project and Operation and Maintenance of related equipment.

5. Well versed with handling of Pressure Reduction and Metering Skids (DRS, MRS, IPRS etc)

6. AMC of major equipment viz. Odorization Units, Cathodic Protection TRU Units and their Instrument and Control parts

7. Troubleshooting of malfunctioning of Dispensers, Compressor, Metering, MFM etc

8. Adoption of new philosophy, new accessories, modern techniques in equipment.

9. Modification in Instrument parts of assets viz. PLC in Compressor, Display in Dispensers, instrument parts of TRU, Odorization etc

10.Assisting in controlling Gas Loss due to instrument errors, timely calibration etc

11.Coordinating with supplier for timely calibration of AGL and GAIL equipment. Also resolving any instrument related conflict between AGL and supplier

12.Bill processing of related equipment viz. CP AMC, Odorization AMC, SCADA AMC, Check-Metering AMC, Dispensewr and Compressor AMC etc.

Essential Qualification

Full Time Degree (BE/B Tech) in Branches of Instrumentation Engineering/Instrumentation and Control Engineering/Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering /Control and Instrument Engineering/Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering /Electrical an Instrumentation Engineering with 60% Marks or CGPA of 6 On 10 Point Scale or 3 on 6 point Scale.

Desirable Qualification

2 Years full time/ 3 Years part time





Recognized MBA/PGDM with Specialization in Project Management/ Material Management,

Production etc. as an added qualification

Age relaxation of six (06) years in upper age limit for internal / outsourced candidates; those having work experience of minimum two (02) Years in AGL.

Min. Fixed CTC (in lakhs/ per annum)Rs. 7.20/- plus 20% variable salary will be paid annually over and above to the minimum fixed CTC, subject to individual & companys performance as per prevailing policy of AGL

The Candidate must have 01 year post qualification in line experience in executive position.

Candidate not found suitable for the advertised grade can be offer appointment in lower grade.
