Digital Marketing Intern SIS

Duration: 3 Months Internship

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Intern will support social media and digital marketing activities across The Gurukulam School's digital platforms. This internship is ideal for candidates who are passionate about content creation, social media, and digital marketing, and are looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced education workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 4–5 short-form videos every week (Reels, Shorts, testimonials, event highlights).
- Create and schedule daily social media posts and stories.
- Assist in content shoots, video editing, and caption writing.
- Ensure all content follows brand guidelines.
- Support social media growth initiatives across platforms.
- Maintain content calendars and posting schedules.
- Collect and manage Google reviews and testimonials.
- Monitor social media trends and suggest new content ideas.
- Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.
- Conduct competitor and market research.
- Prepare basic social media performance reports.
- Coordinate with different school teams for content collection.

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

- Daily Shorts: 2 per day




- Social Media Followers Growth: 10% Month-on-Month
- Engagement Rate: Above 10%
- Google Reviews: 6+ per location every month

Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate or pursuing graduation in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- 0–6 months of internship or project experience in social media or digital marketing.
- Basic understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools.
- Basic video editing skills.
- Good communication and storytelling skills.
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working in a school environment and collaborating with different teams.
